What English proficiency Means to a Business’ Bottom Line

Imagine if you could get 88% of your customers to pay more simply by giving your employees a skill that is commonly taught at school. Impossible? Not at all, according to a new research report by EF entitled The English Margin. The survey brought to light some very interesting findings such as: 

- 81% of companies would consider discarding a supply chain partner with poor English proficiency. 

-Employees with full professional English language proficiency are estimated to contribute $169,000 more in added value in Italy than they are in Germany.
